Wednesday, October 7 – Bright Futures: Event-Day Support

Each year, the Bright Futures Gala brings together WORK’s community of supporters to celebrate the progress families are making as they build pathways out of poverty through good, dignified work. This year marks our 13th annual event, and we are looking for passionate, dependable volunteers to help create a welcoming and memorable evening.

Whether you are an experienced volunteer or joining us for the first time, your time and energy will help make one of WORK’s most important events of the year possible.

Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at The Priory Hotel | Pittsburgh, PA

Volunteer arrival: Between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Volunteer shift: Approximately 4:00–10:00 p.m.

The VIP Cocktail Hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Main Event at 6:30 p.m. The evening concludes around 9:30 p.m., with volunteers assisting with final event wrap-up.

Volunteers will help create a seamless and engaging experience for our guests. Assignments may include:

• Guest registration and check-in
• Silent-auction and raffle support
• Guest direction and hospitality
• Assistance with special activities and event stations
• General event support
• Event breakdown and cleanup

Specific assignments and arrival times will be shared with confirmed volunteers before the event.

Dress Code

Cocktail or festive attire is encouraged. Volunteers should also wear comfortable shoes, as assignments may require standing and moving throughout the venue.
