Museum volunteers needed

Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, in Collinsville, Illinois, is seeking volunteers to assist in tasks related to visitor interaction. Volunteer positions include greeting visitors, monitoring the gallery, giving guided tours or assist with special events. Volunteers will be trained to give specific information to visitors. Special events may include playing Native American games with students on Field Trips, along with a staff person. A volunteer application is available at the website cahokiamounds.org or by emailing Linda.Sinco@illinois.gov. Upon receipt of the application, an interview and a background check will be given.
