Medical Lab Assistant

At Neighborhood Health Clinic, lab volunteers bring hope and healing to hardworking, uninsured adults in Collier County living with chronic health conditions. Our full-service laboratory performs 97% of all testing on-campus, giving our physicians the vital data they need to care for patients quickly and accurately.

We’re seeking volunteers with phlebotomy experience who are comfortable greeting patients and assisting with blood collection. Other responsibilities may include fingerstick blood collection, point-of-care testing, escorting patients to and from the lab, and accurately reporting results.

Volunteers who keep a regular schedule become trusted members of our lab team and a familiar, reassuring presence for patients. Shifts can be weekly, every other week, or monthly, with on-call options available.

Shifts (in person at the Clinic)

• Morning: 8:45 – 11:45 AM
• Afternoon: 12:45 – 3:45
