    Description

Volunteers for Hospice Wanted. Make a difference.

We are looking for volunteers with a desire to give the precious gift of companionship and emotional support to hospice patients and their families.

Hospice volunteers provide companionship and a supportive presence to patients and their families. Volunteers can make visits in patients' homes and/or nursing facilities. Often, volunteers will read to patients, play music for patients, exchange stories with patients, or share a special skill or talent with patients. Our volunteers do not provide any medical care, but simply be available to individuals with an open mind and an open heart for someone at the end of their journey. Preference for bilingual volunteers(Specifically Hmong, Spanish, Tagalog).

If interested, please contact Darcy Tallon, Volunteer Coordinator, at 559-515-1928 or by email at Darcy.Tallon@Bristolhospice.com
