Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides high-level support and assistance to the Social Media Department leadership.
- Receives incoming communications on behalf of senior staff, reviews content, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes content to appropriate staff.
- Performs department tasks, including editing presentations, reviewing social media videos, and, in some cases editing, maintaining records, reassigning tasks to proper team members for the Social Media Campaign Content Calendar, managing past due tasks, engaging in Slack, etc.
- Attends monthly company meeting.
- Maintain availability throughout the workweek (Monday–Thursday) to receive and prepare for administrative tasks assigned for the following workday.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week.
- In EST or a nearby time zone, preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, respond the same day to inquiries.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
