    About the Role

    OpenJoy Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented volunteer to support our grant writing and fundraising efforts.

    This role is essential in helping us expand access to creative and educational programs for children from families with financial problems and limited access to resources.

    You will work directly with the founder and team to identify funding opportunities, prepare grant applications, and support outreach for in-kind donations.

    What You’ll Do

    • Research grant opportunities aligned with education, youth development, and arts programs
    • Assist in writing and editing grant applications
    • Identify and reach out to potential donors and partners for in-kind support (materials, supplies, services)
    • Help organize and maintain a database of funding opportunities
    • Support storytelling and impact descriptions for proposals
    • This role may also include light outreach work, such as contacting local businesses and organizations to request in-kind donations (materials, supplies, or support).
    • We are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with people, asking questions, and representing the organization in a confident and friendly way.
