Volunteer Nonprofit Consultant / Advisor

NextKey Housing Access Foundation is seeking an experienced volunteer nonprofit consultant or advisor to help strengthen our organization and support our growth. We help people navigate housing access through education, resources, and community workshops.

What you will help with:

• Review our priorities and develop a practical organizational action plan.
• Advise on board development, volunteer management, and day-to-day operations.
• Strengthen our fundraising strategy and readiness for grants and partnerships.
• Help organize program goals, budgets, and ways to measure our impact.
• Work with the founder to identify realistic next steps for a growing nonprofit.

Qualifications:

Experience in nonprofit leadership, consulting, organizational development, or fundraising. Strong communication and planning skills, a collaborative approach, and an interest in housing access and community education.

This is an unpaid volunteer advisory opportunity supporting the Foundation. Scope, availability, and length of involvement will be discussed together. Please share a brief summary of your relevant experience and the areas where you would like to help.

Location: Remote, hybrid, or in person in New York City. We are flexible and will agree on an arrangement that works for the volunteer and the Foundation.
