The National Institute for Canine Service and Training (NICST) is looking for a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to join our team!

At NICST, we train service dogs to help individuals with disabilities live more independent lives. Behind every successful service dog is a community of dedicated volunteers who help make our mission possible.

We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together, building relationships, and helping others feel like part of something special.

What You'll Do

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you'll help create a welcoming and supportive experience for the amazing people who give their time to NICST.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome New Volunteers: Help introduce new volunteers to NICST, share our mission, and guide them toward opportunities that match their interests.
• Help Volunteers Get Started: Provide guidance and support as new volunteers settle into their roles.
• Show Appreciation: Help us celebrate our volunteers through recognition, special events, and thoughtful gestures.
• Bring People Together: Organize occasional social gatherings, volunteer activities, and opportunities for our community to connect.
• Keep Things Organized: Help maintain volunteer records, contact information, and participation hours.
