Grant & Fundraising Research Assistant — Volunteer

Starr Prepp is a community organization providing free resources and support to students K-12 and families in Los Angeles. We're looking for a volunteer (NOT A PAID POSITION — nor a promise of future employment) Grant & Fundraising Research Assistant to help us find funding opportunities as we grow. This is a real role with real responsibility. We're a small, fast-moving organization that is looking to build our team.

Responsibilities

• Research grant opportunities relevant to our mission and programs
• Research fiscal sponsors and funding pathways, and compile clear summaries
• Organize findings into an easy-to-reference format
• Flag deadlines and requirements for opportunities worth pursuing
• Strong research and organizational skills, with attention to detail

Time Commitment — 10 hours per week.

Location - Candidates are required to be located within Southern California but the role is REMOTE

This role is UNPAID and volunteer based. In exchange, we offer:
