At Heartsong Hospice, we take pride in providing end-of-life care. We are looking for volunteers to help us make a difference in the communities that we serve.
Hospice Volunteers offers companionship in patient's homes or facilities.
Hospice Volunteers also perform activities to include reading, running errands, and helping with any hobbies the patients may have.
Hospice Volunteers also support our care team by performing administrative tasks in the office that includes but not limited to sending cards to family members, bereavement mailings, answering the phones, and organizing special memories for our patients.
As a Hospice volunteer you can also use your musical gifts to provide musical therapy to our patients to help brighten their day.
Hospice Volunteers can also connect with fellow veterans by providing companionship and participating in meaningful ceremonies from one veteran to another. Your military background can help honor our veteran patients.
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Volunteer Application
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
Must complete 16-hours of Volunteer Training
