    Description

GGWW Board of Directors - Are you looking for an opportunity to serve in the equity movement?

GGWW seeks two additional board members to join our organization beginning immediately. Preference will be given to those who can fulfill the most urgent areas of need: One position classified as FUNDING and the other as INTERNATIONAL. Creativity, commitment to our voice, being visible and vocal as aligned with our mission in the human rights and equity movements, and responsiveness are the most important criteria. Life and professional experience is valued as much as education.

    ABOUT US:

GGWW advocates for girls and women in a universal context, with certain areas of focus. Our voice is clear, direct, and fearless. GGWW promotes a new global culture of anti-misogynistic humanity in government, religion, and education.

    BOARD MEMBER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Funding

GGWW seeks a board member who can lead the development and funding of our organization with creativity and persistence. This includes grant writing, pursuing corporate or B-corp partnerships, identifying businesses who will “round-up” and any other possible sources. In addition, will collaborate with other board members, volunteers, and interns on events, outreach, and networking.

    International

GGWW seeks a board member based outside the United States with a global view and who can expand our reach and establish partnerships and alliances with like-minded entities. In addition, will collaborate with the GGWW team on expanding our impact.

    TIME COMMITMENT

Attend monthly board meetings, and lead various projects. Time requirements may vary at different times based on projects, however a minimum of 6 hours (in addition to monthly meeting) per month is customary.

Please note: Creating and maintaining organization and project momentum is crucial.
