Help families by assembling kits at the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio in Newark!

The Furniture Bank of Central Ohio and Furniture with a Heart are new to Newark! The Furniture Bank takes donations of furniture and household goods and gives them to families in need. Furniture with a Heart is our social enterprise thrift store. Furniture and other items that we sell at the thrift store represent only a small part that are donated to us. These are often larger items of furniture than the new homes our clients have moved into can accommodate (sectional couches, exercise equipment, entertainment centers, décor and art pieces, etc.). All the sales are rolled back into our mission to serve families in need. All other donations are given directly to the families we serve.

We have volunteers put together ready-to-assemble ktis. All tools and training provided. We can take volunteers Tuesday-Saturday between 10 AM-5 PM.
