    Description

    Care Team Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to provide companionship to patients in the Houghton Lake area. This is a non-medical role focused on offering comfort, connection, and presence during an important stage of life.

    Volunteers spend time visiting patients, listening, sharing conversation, reading, or simply sitting quietly together. Your presence can help ease loneliness and bring peace to both patients and their families.

    No experience is required—just kindness, reliability, and a willingness to listen. We provide training, ongoing support, and flexible scheduling.

    Even a few hours a month can make a meaningful difference.
