    Description

    Become a Girls on the Run Coach!

    Looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity where you can make a difference in the lives of young girls? Girls on the Run is an after-school program for girls in grades 3-5 that teaches girls life skills paired with fun games, activities, and goal setting while working towards an end-of-season 5K. Our Spring 8-week season runs March 16-May 30. Small teams of 8-15 girls meet twice weekly for 75 minutes each.

    No running or coaching experience is necessary. We supply all the training and materials. Sign up today at gotrlongisland.org/coach and we will be in touch with next steps.

    • Berry Hill Elementary, Syosset Tue/Thur 3:30-5:00 PM
    • North Side Elementary, East Williston, Tues/Fri 3:00-4:30 PM
    • Willets Road School, East Williston, Thursdays 3-5 or 4-6pm
    • Massapequa Schools - any 2 days (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thur or Wed/Fri 3:15-4:45 PM or 4-5:30PM
