    This program is based on exchange, not pressure. You are welcome to:

    • Support simple daily activities at the shelter

    🧭 Directions: Kampala City Square → Buwambo (Kalule Bwaise Children’s Shelter)

    šŸš— Option 1: Private Car / Taxi (Most Direct)

      Start from Kampala City Square and head towards Bombo Road (Kampala–Gulu Highway).

        Drive straight out of the city, passing through:

          Makerere

            Kawempe

              Matugga Trading Center

                Continue on Bombo Road until you reach Kalule Trading Center.

                  At Kalule, branch off toward Buwambo (ask locals if unsure — it’s a common route).

                    Follow the road into the village toward Kalule Bwaise Children’s Shelter.

                    ā± Travel time: ~45 minutes to 1.5 hours (depending on traffic)

                    🚌 Option 2: Public Transport (Budget-Friendly)

                    Step 1: Taxi (Matatu) from Kampala

                    Go to the Old Taxi Park or New Taxi Park in Kampala.

                    Take a taxi heading to Bombo / Kalule / Wobulenzi.

                    Tell the driver to drop you at Kalule Stage.

                    Step 2: Bodaboda (Motorbike)

                    From Kalule Stage, take a bodaboda to:

                    Bodaboda riders usually know the area, or you can call us to guide them.
