Nonprofit
Remote Volunteer: Giving Ambassador – GLOWA’s Giving Ambassadors Corps
Details
Description
Global Welfare Association (GLOWA) is recruiting enthusiastic volunteers to join its Giving Ambassadors Corps as founding members.
GLOWA is a survivor-led nonprofit organisation based in Cameroon, working to protect vulnerable children and women from abuse, exploitation and trafficking while promoting education, recovery, empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.
Our first campaign will support One Book, Many Futures: Girls in STEM, a GLOWA project approved by GlobalGiving. The initiative aims to improve vulnerable girls’ access to mathematics, science and other STEM learning resources in Bamenda, Cameroon, through a community Book Bank, educational activities, parent and community engagement, and education-related child protection initiatives.
About the Volunteer Role
As a Giving Ambassador, you will help connect this community-led initiative with individuals, organisations and networks willing to support girls’ education. You will play an important role in expanding GLOWA’s international reach and mobilising resources for our 2026 year-end fundraising campaign.

- Encourage individuals and organisations to support the campaign through donations.

- Help raise awareness about girls’ education, STEM learning and educational inclusion.
- Provide brief updates on outreach activities and feedback from potential supporters.
- Participate in occasional virtual meetings and campaign coordination activities.
