Thanksgiving Market St. Isidore Market Volunteers

Happy Holidays! Community Markets Inc. is in need of volunteers for the St. Isidore Thanksgiving Market! Our markets always promise fresh, nutritious food at an affordable price and a convenient location, but as this will be our last market before Thanksgiving, there will be a few extra treats thrown in! While our usual markets are usually held on Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 PM, this market will be held on November 25th to ensure that our customers will be able to have their groceries on Thanksgiving!

Volunteers are needed for setup starting around 3:00 PM, to assist during the market, and to help close down the market until about 7:00 PM. During the market, volunteer positions include: service at the table/cash register, retrieving and carrying orders for customers, and assembling orders in, and handing out orders from a refrigerated trailer.

Volunteers are invited to arrive at either 3:00 or 4:15 and may be needed as late as 7:00. However, any amount of time that can be donated is welcome!

Minors may volunteer provided that they have a parent or guardian accompanying them who is responsible for the minor whilst volunteering.

All wintertime markets are held indoors at the St. Michael’s building, located inside the grounds of St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV (the small building next to the playground). Signs will be in place to guide your way!
