Community Dinner

Gospel Village of Lakeland is searching for volunteers to assist with their weekly Thursday night dinners for their residents. Each Thursday, volunteers offer the residents a social opportunity with friendly faces and conversations. Sometimes Gospel Village even holds events and celebrations for their residents on Thursdays. Volunteers are needed to help prepare for these dinners and events, serving or plating dishes/food, and building relationships with the residents of Gospel Village. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Non-slip shoes are recommended.

Repurpose Studio

This is a volunteer opportunity, not a paid position.

Gospel Inc is in need of volunteers for their Repurpose Studio. The residents of Gospel Village have experienced chronic homelessness. This is a studio in which women to come to find community with staff and volunteers who encourage them to continue working toward a fulfilling life. Additionally, these women learn how to sew or create crafts that are sold on their behalf to help them attain housing. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Non-slip shoes are recommended.

Serve Day

This is a volunteer opportunity, not a paid position.

Gospel Inc is looking for a volunteer or group to schedule a weekday to come between 9am to 4pm for various improvements needed. These improvements could involve gardening, renovations, landscape beautification, area cleanup, weeding, and more. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Non-slip shoes are recommended.
