    Description

    Campus Ambassador (College Students Only)

    The Campus Ambassador is a volunteer student leader who represents Black Connect on their college or university campus. Ambassadors help grow awareness of Black Connect’s mission, expand the presence of Black-owned businesses within student communities, and introduce peers to entrepreneurship and collaboration.

    This volunteer role is perfect for students looking to build leadership experience, contribute to economic empowerment in the Black community, and support meaningful campus engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as Black Connect’s volunteer representative on your campus
    • Promote Black Connect membership, resources, and opportunities
    • Share BC events, entrepreneurship programs, and student-friendly initiatives
    • Recruit fellow students to join Black Connect
    • Communicate directly with student groups and campus organizations (e.g., BSU, NSBE, NPHC orgs, entrepreneurship clubs)
    • Hang flyers and digital promo materials on campus (as permitted)
    • Encourage students to support and engage with Black Connect member businesses
    • Post BC-approved content in campus GroupMe, Discord groups, student networks, etc.
    • Attend monthly ambassador Zoom meetings
    • Submit short monthly volunteer activity check-ins (2–3 minutes)

    • Interest in entrepreneurship, economics, or social impact
    • Organized and consistent in follow-through
    • Passion for uplifting the Black community

    • Must be a current college/university student (any major)
    • No experience required—training and materials provided.
    • Prior leadership experience preferred
