South Central Destination Imagination Merch Booth or Check-in Volunteers

Destination Imagination is run on volunteer power at all levels!

Merch Table Volunteers: This position will be assisting with the selling of merchandise (cash and card sales). This position is stationed in the main commons near the Information table and the food so at times it may get loud or over stimulating depending on how many people are gathered in this location.

Check-In Volunteers: Teams will be coming up to the table to check in for their Instant Challenge time. They should be arriving approximately 15 minutes before their IC time. When they arrive, you will need to confirm 1) team number as this is unique to each team, 2) Team name, 3) School name and level (Elementary, Middle or Senior level). Once that is confirmed, highlight them on the printed schedule. You will then have the team join you in reading the Instant Challenge Pledge before escorting team members and 1 team manager only into the holding room. If the team manager has teams in the same grade level/challenge they are not allowed to go in until their last challenge. No cell phones, toys or time keeping devices are allowed. Medical devices (not fitbits) are allowed.
