    Description

    Overview:

    Not Defined By FND is preparing to launch a first-of-its-kind initiative in 2026 that will center around storytelling, creativity, and advocacy. We’re seeking a passionate and organized volunteer to serve as our Outreach & Engagement Coordinator to help bring this confidential project to life.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys community engagement, creative promotion, and collaborative teamwork. The selected volunteer will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement before receiving full project details.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Outreach & Promotion
      • Assist in developing and executing a promotional strategy
      • Help identify and connect with potential collaborators, supporters, and judges
      • Draft and send outreach communications; track responses
    • Creative Support
      • Collaborate on messaging and visual content for awareness campaigns
      • Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance project engagement
      • Assist with content creation using tools like Canva or similar platforms
    • Coordination & Teamwork
      • Work closely with team members to align efforts with the project timeline
      • Help organize outreach materials and maintain communication records
      • Support additional tasks as needed to ensure project success

    Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for tracking outreach and timelines
    • Experience with Canva or other design tools for creating promotional materials
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Creative thinking and a collaborative mindset
    • Passion for advocacy, storytelling, or community engagement

    General Timeline:

    • Winter 2025 – Prep work begins (organizing outreach lists, drafting materials, etc.)
    • Spring 2026 – Outreach to potential collaborators and judges
    • Late Summer–Fall 2026 – Promotion and engagement efforts
    • Winter 2026–Early 2027 – Continued support during active project phase
