Child Focus Seeks Dynamic Board of Directors

The mission of Child Focus is to join with communities in improving the quality of life for children, families and adults. Child Focus is a leader in the industries of early learning and behavioral health by creating responsive and innovative programs in collaboration with individuals, families, community agencies and institutions. Our early learning, prevention and treatment programs improve functioning and family stability, promote school readiness and success and encourage growth and self-sufficiency for the children, families and adults in our community.

The governing Board of Directors for Child Focus is a diverse group of volunteers that have experience as professionals, caregivers and consumers. Ideal areas of expertise include:

• Human Resources
• IT
• Quality Assurance
• Marketing/ PR
• Grant Writing
• Fundraising
• Mental Health
• Addiction
• Early Learning
• Parenting
• Education/ Social Service
• Pediatric/ Medical
• Law/Legislative/ Advocacy
• Lived Experience

Our Policy Governance Board of Directors meet in-person at our Eastgate area Corporate Office (4629 Aicholtz Road Cincinnati, OH 45244) the fourth Tuesday of each month from 4:30-6 p.m. with limited remote options.Initial terms last three years. Board members are eligible for a second term to serve a maximum of six consecutive years on the Board.

Board Members will:

  • Support organizational growth and sustainability
  • Assist with fundraising and partnership development
  • Serve as ambassadors within the community
  • Uphold our mission, vision, and core values
  • Participate in monthly board meetings
  • Support accountability and policy oversight
