    Description

Meals on Wheels - Meal Courier

    Summary

Join Meals on Wheels and make a real difference—one delivery at a time. We are looking for compassionate drivers to deliver our meals from our kitchen in Richmond to a depot of their choice in the Vancouver or Richmond area. These meals are then given to volunteer drivers who deliver them straight to the doors of isolated and homebound seniors, helping them stay nourished and connected to their community.

    Description

CareBC is looking for Kitchen Meal Courier volunteers to bring the meals in batches to various depots across Vancouver and Richmond for volunteer drivers to pick up. Kitchen Meal Courier Volunteers also return the previous day’s empty meal bags back to the kitchen. You may also be asked to support packing the sealed meals into delivery bags at the kitchen.

    Volunteer Impact:

Our dedicated volunteer team delivers over 400 meals a day, Monday – Friday!

Last year, we delivered over 61,000 meals serving over 770 vulnerable seniors and homebound neighbors.

As a Kitchen Meal Courier, you’re a vital link helping vulnerable seniors remain nourished and safe in their own homes.
