Description
For more than eight years, Paws of L.A. Rescue has helped dogs find loving homes across Los Angeles. As our organization continues to grow, we’re investing in new initiatives that strengthen our impact and better support the communities we serve.
We’re looking for a Communications & Marketing Manager to help shape how we share our work, engage our supporters, and build a communications foundation that can grow with us.
Some ideas are already taking shape, and others are still being built. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of that type of process.
What we need:
- Experience in communications, marketing, branding, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Someone who enjoys thinking strategically and turning ideas into action.
- Comfortable collaborating, sharing feedback, and building something over time.
- Passion for community impact and animal welfare.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with the Executive Director to shape the organization’s communications strategy.
- Help develop messaging, content themes and communications plans
- Identify stories that reflect the impact of our work.
- Recommend ways to strengthen our overall communications.
- Help build and mentor a communications team as the organization grows.
