Ordering financial instruments from Shared Services or the Red Cross Client Assistance Card provider.
Upon receipt, financial instruments are secured in a locked area.
All instruments are accounted for on inventory control logs.
Transferring Client Assistance Cards a within the region as needed, and ensuring a Client Assistance Card Charge-Out Record (Form 1032) is completed for Client Assistance Cards when transferring them within the region.
Accounting for the transfer of any Client Assistance Cards from one Red Cross employee or volunteer to another on a Form 1032.
Retrieving and accounting for financial instruments issued to volunteers and employees before they terminate affiliation with the Red Cross or transition to other duties where possession of instruments is not required.
Immediately deactivating/voiding any instruments that cannot be retrieved or accounted for.
Consolidation and data entry of financial and statistical information into standard Disaster Operation Control reports.
