    Description

OVERNIGHT Local Disaster Response - Wayne County
Support disaster victims in your community by being on-call remotely as a member of a team to provide immediate emergency aid to people affected by single and multi-family incidents; usually home fires. Volunteers report to the site as a team in a Red Cross vehicle to help register clients for services and ensure immediate needs are met with available organizational resources (lodging, food, supplies etc.)

Volunteers schedule monthly shifts and receive calls from Red Cross dispatch when needed.
