    Description

    Basic volunteer duties involved with this assignment:

    • Accept donations from donors especially during the holiday season
    • Help execute Ice Cream Social by spreading the word, etc.
    • Help with Egg Hunt Fundraiser mailings, organizing, sorting, etc.

    Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment:

    • Being organized and self-motivated to help with Caring for Kids, Inc. mission to service their children and families
    • Help with the "hands on" work to get supplies ready

    • Foster and adoptive families and expectant and birth mothers
    • Children in foster care

    What is the benefit for volunteers?

    • Being part of a team and working together to achieve a common goal
    • Helping others in an office that appreciate working together for the good of others

    What specific skills will the volunteer need?

    • Most things can be done while sitting but some projects will require standing and searching for various projects
    • Organizing of clothing, food, etc. will require standing and walking
