    About Human Health Project (HHP)

Human Health Project is a global holistic health literacy charity building a Unified Patient Experience (UPE)—a platform and service model that helps patients navigate healthcare, improve health literacy, and access care, education, information and advocacy.

We are now launching a reimbursable care delivery model under Medi-Cal (CalAIM), Medicaid and Medicare, leveraging a trained volunteer workforce.

    The Role

We are seeking a Program Director / Strategy Lead to lead the rollout of HHP’s reimbursable healthcare services.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for:

    • Clinical and payer partnerships
    • CalAIM (ECM/CS) engagement
    • Pear Suite integration
    • Funding and sustainability strategy

You will own the transition from pilot → revenue-generating healthcare program.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build partnerships with:
      • FQHCs
      • Medi-Cal Managed Care Plans (e.g., L.A. Care, Molina)
      • Medical groups and hospitals
    • Lead relationship with Pear Suite (billing platform)
    • Secure supervising clinician (MD/NP/PA)
    • Drive CalAIM participation strategy
    • Identify and secure funding (grants, partnerships)

    Ideal Background

    • Healthcare strategy / operations / partnerships
    • Experience with:
      • Medicaid / Medicare
      • Value-based care / population health
      • Nonprofit or startup leadership
    • Strong network in California healthcare (preferred)

    Why This Role Matters

You will help build a new model of care delivery:

    • Volunteer-powered
    • Reimbursable
    • Scalable nationally

This is a rare opportunity to design and launch a healthcare system from the ground up.

    Time Commitment

    ~5–10 hours/week (flexible)
