Description
The Community Engagement Lead is responsible for building, nurturing, and growing the organization's community by fostering meaningful relationships with members, partners, volunteers, and stakeholders. This role drives community participation, develops engagement strategies, and creates opportunities that strengthen the organization's impact and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the organization's community.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, partners, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, campaigns, and networking activities.
- Manage online and offline community engagement initiatives and communication channels.
- Respond to community inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community needs and insights inform programs and initiatives.
- Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers, ambassadors, and community champions.
- Track engagement metrics and prepare reports to measure community growth and impact.
- Identify partnership opportunities that enhance community participation and organizational visibility.
- Represent the organization at relevant events and meetings.
Qualifications
- Have a background in relation to community management.
- Experienced in community engagement, stakeholder relations, partnerships, or a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience planning and coordinating events or community programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
