    Description

Keep Music Alive seeks Board Members

Keep Music Alive is a national music education advocacy organization seeking to expand our board of directors. Our mission is to help more kids and adults reap the educational, therapeutic and social benefits of playing music. Our major programs are Teach Music Week (March), Make Music Philly (June), Kids Music Day (October) and year-round Musical Instrument Petting Zoo events. Each year we partner with over 1,200 music school and store location in all 50 states, Canada and a dozen other countries to offer free lessons to new students (kids & adults) and hold special events that benefit kids playing music. Year round, Keep Music Alive presents 80-100 Musical Instrument Petting Zoo events at schools, libraries and outdoor festivals as a way of introducing children to musical instruments. For more information please visit www.KeepMusicAlive.org .

Keep Music Alive seeks to have diverse representation on our board. BIPOC and LGBTQ candidates are encouraged to apply
