Description
We are seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented Volunteer Web Optimization Specialist to enhance our digital footprint. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and the emerging world of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Your primary goal will be to educate staff and work with them to update our web pages using Squarespace so that travelers can easily discover our free services—whether they are searching on Google or asking AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level professional or a talented freelancer looking to use their skills to give back to the New York City tourism and non-profit community.
