Description
Jester Artspace is a nonprofit community arts organization based in North Wilmington, whose mission is to engage, inspire, and connect our community through the arts. Located in the adaptively repurposed and historic Jester Farmhouse, it is a resource for local artists of all disciplines and skill levels, and for those interested in the arts. Jester offers programs and classes across a variety of media, exhibitions featuring local artists, and serves as an artist meeting, working, and gallery space.
Jester is currently looking for experienced volunteers with a marketing, communications or writing background. Volunteering opportunities include:
- Promoting workshops, classes, and events
- Supporting communications via social media, web, e-newsletters, print materials etc
- Connecting with other community groups
- Conducting research to learn more about community needs in the arts
- Broadening our contacts in under-served communities
- Strategizing improvements to our marketing plan
