    About Us

Culture in Sports is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing conversations at the intersection of sport, leadership, and culture. Through articles, podcasts, roundtables, and digital content, we bring together voices from across the sports ecosystem to explore how leadership and environment shape performance and experience in sport.

    Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative, proactive Social Media & Content Assistant to support and help grow our digital presence across platforms.

You’ll work closely with the marketing lead to bring content to life, focusing on creating both short-form video (Reels/TikTok) and static content (carousels, graphics, and platform-specific posts) that engage and resonate with our audience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the marketing lead to execute social media content and campaigns
    • Create and schedule engaging content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn)
    • Develop short-form video content (Reels/TikTok) to promote articles, podcasts, and initiatives
    • Design static content, including carousels, graphics, and promotional posts
    • Translate long-form content into compelling, platform-specific formats
    • Assist with content calendars and campaign planning
    • Monitor engagement and support community interaction
    • Stay on top of social media trends and bring forward new ideas

    What We’re Looking For

    • Interest in sport, culture, and storytelling
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
    • Interest or experience in creating both short-form video and static content
    • Creative mindset with attention to detail
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
    • Experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, or scheduling platforms is a plus

    What You’ll Gain

    • Hands-on experience managing social media for a growing nonprofit
    • Opportunity to build a portfolio of both video and static content
    • Experience executing real campaigns across multiple platforms
    • A chance to contribute to meaningful conversations in sport
