If you are searching for a way to make a difference in the lives of other, you belong here. Hospice Volunteers are a valuable part of our care team. Seeking a Spanish Speaking Female to Volunteer with Female Hospice Patient in Need of Companionship.
*** No medical experience is needed as volunteers DO NOT perform nursing duties or dispense medication ***
All volunteers are given assignments that best suite their time, and volunteering takes no advanced training.
Examples of activities with patients:
- Holding a hand
- Listening, reading, singing or listening to music
- Talking about life experiences
- Play cards or games
- Watching TV together
- Brushing their hair
