Animal Rescue Facility Cleanup & Care Volunteer

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — GREENEPETS FOSTER NETWORK — GREENEVILLE

GreenePets Foster Network, Inc., a nonprofit animal-rescue organization serving the Greeneville area, is looking for two local volunteers who would like to help us with a major facility cleanup project.

Our immediate project includes:

• Soaking, washing and sanitizing approximately 180 stainless-steel dog bowls

• Deep cleaning rescue kennel areas

• Organizing animal-care supplies and equipment

• Helping restore rescue areas to proper sanitation standards

This is hands-on volunteer work. Expect water, cleaning supplies, dog hair and some good old-fashioned scrubbing.

No kennel experience is required. Experience with animal care, shelters, veterinary facilities, farms, housekeeping or commercial cleaning is certainly welcome.

We especially need people who are dependable, comfortable around dogs, able to follow sanitation procedures and willing to tackle a project from start to finish.

After the initial cleanup, volunteers who enjoy the work may also have opportunities to assist GreenePets with rescue-related projects, animal care, organization, photographs, paperwork and other nonprofit activities.

Scheduling can be arranged according to volunteer availability.

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity with GreenePets Foster Network, Inc. It is not an employment position and there is no expectation or promise of paid employment.

If you are the person who can look at 180 dirty dog bowls and say:

“Okay. Where's the soap?”

I'd genuinely like to hear from you.

Please reply with your name, general availability, any relevant experience and why you would like to volunteer with GreenePets.
