Description
The George Street Co-op is seeking in-person or remote volunteers to serve as Outreach Committee Board members with a focus on community partnership building.
Role description: build relationships and manage communications with various community partners, including local organizations and businesses. Ideally bilingual (EN-ES) with knowledge of Greater New Brunswick food & social justice landscape.
- Identifying and organizing co-op presence at local events/initiatives
- Inviting community partners to co-op events and initiatives
- Reqs: attend weekly meetings, co-manage email and social media accounts, be comfortable with outreach efforts incl. phone calls and in-person meetings
