Description
Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Technician
- We are a Used Durable Medical Equipment Store
- Review, repairs and cleans hospital beds, lift chairs, and medical equipment in preparation for placement on the sales floor. This may include beds, lift chairs, electric patient lifts and other miscellaneous electrical equipment.
- Provide assistance to volunteers and customers needing help with troubleshooting repair needs, repairing equipment, and completing safety checks of same.
- Tests motors, wiring, control units, as needed prior to installing on durable medical equipment.
- Assists with recycling of equipment, parts, etc. that are beyond economical repair.
