Description
Lead with Heart. Mentor with Purpose.
Mentoring Plus connects caring adults with teens across Northern Kentucky who need guidance, encouragement, and support. Volunteers can choose one of three meaningful roles based on how they want to engage.
Choose Your Role
GUIDE
A flexible, relationship-focused role.
- Come when you can (no set time commitment)
- Be a positive, consistent adult presence
- Listen, encourage, and support youth
MENTOR
A steady, weekly commitment.
- Meet at least once per week (no specific set day/time required)
- Help youth set goals and build life skills
- Provide accountability and encouragement
LIFE COACH
A long-term, consistent commitment.
- Meet at least once per week
- Commit for the length of the youth’s participation in the program
- Support school, work, and life challenges while being a steady voice of hope
Why It Matters
Young people with caring adults in their corner are more likely to succeed in school, build healthy relationships, and make positive life choices.
No experience needed — just consistency, compassion, and a willingness to show up. Training and ongoing support are provided.
