    Description

Help us create a welcoming and safe environment for people who use stimulants so they can get connected to harm reduction resources!

Our weekly SHIPmates peer group serves as a no-barrier way for people who use stimulants to get connected to healthy community and services. Most attendees are unhoused or living in permanent supportive housing, and are dealing with many life challenges. SHIPmates offers a safe environment for people to connect with each other over a hot meal and learn about resources to help them quit stimulants, access healthcare and get their basic needs met.

As a volunteer, you will support our peer support specialist who runs the group, help welcome and connect with attendees, serve food, and help create a positive and safe environment. Staff are on site and available to help you with whatever you need.
