    At Caretenders Hospice, we understand that volunteers are and integral part of end-of-life care. Our volunteers make connections with those who need a hand to hold, a heart to listen,or have a story to share.

    Volunteer Heroes provide our patients with social and emontional support. During visits,volunteers participate in activities with the patients such as reading the newspaper or books, taking walks on a sunny day , listening to music ,sharing stories and reminiscing ,or simply providing a present.
