We are looking for enthusiastic and supportive volunteers to assist in local schools in Jinja, Uganda.
This role offers the chance to work directly within classroom settings, supporting both teachers and students. You’ll help create a more inclusive and engaging learning environment, where all children are encouraged to participate and build confidence.
Working alongside local educators, you’ll contribute in simple but meaningful ways that support children’s learning and day-to-day school experience.

1. Express Your Interest
Send us a short message introducing yourself. Include the following details:

Our team will review your message and get back to you with more details about the role, availability, and next steps.
2. Arrange a viritual Meeting
We will schedule a FaceTime meeting to help us get to know each other better. If both parties feel comfortable, we will ask you to provide some character references.
3. Confirm Your Placement
If selected, you will receive a confirmation that includes:
- Your volunteer schedule
- Arrival details and orientation information
- Any requirements you need to prepare for
4. Prepare for Your Arrival
Before arriving, please:
- Arrange your travel and accommodation (guidance can be provided)
- Pack appropriate clothing for a rural setting (comfortable and modest)
- Bring any personal essentials and medications
- Be ready for a hands-on, adaptable experience
5. Stay in Communication
Keep in touch with the team before your arrival to confirm plans and ask any questions.
Please note that we welcome general volunteers who are kind, patient, and willing to learn. No formal experience is required, but a genuine interest in working with children is important.
