At My Style Matters, we believe that wellness is a right, not a privilege. As a small community based nonprofit located in Atlanta, Georgia, we are dedicated to transforming the health outcomes of women, particularly Black women, affected by breast cancer through culturally affirming education, support, and advocacy.

Our programs focus on lifestyle, health equity, patient empowerment, and reducing toxic exposures, while creating sisterhood, healing, and hope along the way.

As our Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator, you will play a vital role in recruiting, supporting, and engaging volunteers while deepening our connections with community partners, churches, schools, and grassroots groups. You’ll work directly with the leadership team to help ensure we have the people and partnerships needed to fulfill our mission.

This is an ideal role for someone who is people-centered, highly organized, and passionate about social impact.

Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Engagement:

• Support volunteer recruitment by posting opportunities and conducting outreach
• Assist in onboarding new volunteers and matching them to the right roles
• Help coordinate volunteer orientations, check-ins, and appreciation activities
• Maintain volunteer tracking spreadsheets (hours, roles, contact info)
• Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager to streamline communication and scheduling

Community Outreach:

• Identify and build relationships with local community groups, churches, sororities, schools, etc.
• Represent My Style Matters at outreach events (virtual or in-person)
• Coordinate tabling opportunities, health fairs, and speaking engagements
• Help manage outreach materials and presentation folders
• Collect and track contact info from new community partners
