    Description

ESL, math, and reading tutors for adults in Detroit

As a volunteer tutor at Siena Literacy Center, you CAN make a difference in the life of an individual.

Our tutors are matched one-to-one with adult learners to help them meet their academic goals. Tutors and learners develop relationships that promote successful learning experiences and personally enrich each of their lives.

Tutors are needed in reading, math, and English as a Second Language. We provide all training and curriculum--no teaching experience is required.

Hours are flexible. Tutors commit to about 3 hours per week--one 2-hour meeting, and about 1 hour of prep/follow up. This is an in-person opportunity on site at Siena Literacy Center.

For more information, call 313-532-8404 or visit www.sienaliteracy.org/tutor. Read our official volunteer job description for more information: https://tinyurl.com/volunteerjobdescription.
