Traveling Warehouse Project Volunteer!

Purpose of the Position

Volunteer across the country at different loading sites assisting with movement, storage, inventory and preparing shipments of consumables and equipment. Primary projects will be around loading and unloading of ICU beds, testing ICU beds and standing up ICU beds for more efficient storage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Under direction, transport donations to designated areas in warehouse, build stands for upright bed storage, testing beds inbound equipment
• Other warehouse duties as requested by the Warehouse, Equipment and Bio-Medical Managers
• Maintain clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Report any injuries, accidents or potentially hazardous situations immediately to the supervisor. If a direct supervisor is not immediately available, report to any Project C.U.R.E. staff member.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willing to travel to different project locations
• Willing to perform manual labor
• Able to lift moderate to heavy boxes and use pallet jack
• Forklift and truck driving ability preferred.
• Flexibility with job assignments

Commitment Expected

4-6 days + a month preferred. Ability to travel to location to help with projects. Most projects take place over 2-4 days including travel.
