    Description

Digital Team Project Manager, Remote · 4–6 hours/week · Ongoing

Healthful Stories is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that conducts in-depth interviews with people living with chronic and complex health conditions. We exist to document the real patient journey: the delays, the barriers, and the turning points in a way that will have the greatest impact on those living with similar illnesses. Behind our mission is a growing team of web, design, and social media volunteers and right now, keeping their work visible and on track depends on the people we have to lead the process.

As our Digital Team Project Manager, you will own and manage our Monday.com workspace for both our Website and Social Media teams. You'll structure boards, track deliverables and deadlines, and make sure both teams and our Head of Volunteer Operations have a clear, current view of our progress towards our goals. You don't need to be a designer or developer, but having an interest in learning about these areas and shepherding these processes forward would be meaningful support for these teams.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Building and maintaining Monday.com boards, workflows, and automations for the Website and Social Media teams
    • Tracking deliverables, deadlines, and status across both teams, flagging what's at risk before it becomes a problem
    • Standardizing how tasks are created, assigned, and updated so the system stays usable as more volunteers join
    • Producing simple, regular status summaries for our Head of Operations and Executive Director
    • Onboarding new Website and Social Media volunteers to our Monday.com workflow
    • Troubleshooting Monday.com functionality and recommending process improvements as our teams grow

    You bring:

    • Hands-on experience with Monday.com or a comparable project management platform (Asana, ClickUp, Trello)
    • Strong organizational instincts and comfort structuring workflows for teams that aren't yours to manage directly
    • Clear, concise communication skills — you can translate "what's actually going on" into a status update someone busy can read in 30 seconds
    • Experience in project coordination, operations, or program management is a plus
    • Comfort working with volunteers rather than employees, and holding a system together even when individual contributors' time is limited

What you'll gain: Real project management experience owning a live system across multiple teams which is the kind of cross-functional PM work that translates directly to careers in nonprofit operations, program management, or digital project management. You'll report directly to our Head of Volunteer Operations and have visibility into how a growing volunteer organization actually functions day to day.
