Volunteer Event Dog Walker

In addition to regular dog walking, playgroup, and enrichment, we also need dog walkers to assist us at events! You'd be with us at PetSmart in Banning, helping show off dogs to potential adopters!

Come make a difference in a dog’s life! After general orientation, sign up for your dog walking class to learn all about dogs–not just walking them! Our program lead and behavior consultant, Larissa Stanton (of our partner, Project Pawsible) will teach you about basic dog behavior, safe handling, and basic dog training that you’ll be able to use with our dogs and your pack at home!

Still craving more? Well don’t worry, the bowl isn’t empty, we have more to offer! Join one of our Playgroup classes and deep dive into dog body language, how dogs play, and how to prevent dog fights (and how to break one up if it happens).

Finally, there is ENRICHMENT! Make our whole pack’s day better with some peanut butter kongs, lickimats, snuffleballs, or one of the many delightful treats and toys you’ll learn to make in the enrichment class!
