Volunteer application bundle, 2 forms of ID, fingerprinting (if you've had this done in OK you will be checked off for this)background check, orientation/training. We deal with fragile patient information and background check is required.

Description

If you have felt you need to do something purposeful with your life, volunteering for us can bring the value to your life you need.

We walk you through orientation, equipping you to be an incredible volunteer. A companion volunteer is simple. It is visiting, and lifting the room. A smile, a story, reading a book, or Psalms from the Bible and lifting the spirits of the person you are visiting.

At Choice Hospice our volunteers are an extension of compassion and presence.

We ask you to fill out our application bundle, go through orientation and a background check. Once those

are completed we introduce you and you can visit from there.

You will look at your volunteer time and know you've done something memorable with it. Value comes in many ways, volunteering for us is one of the best ways.

We are a medical office on the ground floor. There is plenty of parking. Please knock on door and someone will grant your entrance.

Instructions:

We use your email that is attached to your Idealist account. Once we receive notification of your interest in volunteering we will email you our Volunteer application bundle. Please look it over and fill out. Return it with 2 forms OF current ID.

This will get you started and I can answer any questions you have. We have a great volunteer team, and many people have loved their volunteering time with us. It has made a significant difference in their life.
