    Description

    Foote Preserve Trail Clearing

Help maintain a classic trail at the Napa Land Trust's oldest preserve, which descends the northwest face of Mt George. Enjoy expansive views of Napa Valley and the San Francisco Bay. The trail routes directly through a patch of rare ceanothus that only resprouts after a major fire, so this is an excellent opportunity to explore Napa's unique fire ecology.

Bring: close toed shoes, water, sunscreen, and a lunch. Provided: snacks, tools, and gloves.
