    Description

Van Driver Volunteer – Food Recovery & Relief Delivery

KPC Buddhist Relief is looking for volunteer van drivers to help bring food, clothing, and whatever is needed to the poor, the hungry, and refugees in our community.

Every month, we deliver over 16,000 pounds of food to families, neighbors, and refugees across the region through a network of community partners including So What Else, The Upcounty Hub, Shepherd's Table, Miriam's Kitchen, WUMCO, and Poolesville Little Free Pantry.

We have both weekly and on-call opportunities available, primarily daytime on weekdays and weekends, with some evening availability in winter months. Routes involve food delivery and food recovery. You'll be out in the community, interacting with people, and completing a short report after each run. Ability to lift 40–50 lbs is a plus.
