    Description

    Organization: Gift Ministries, Inc.

Position: Volunteer Nursing Educator – NCLEX Preparation

    Location: Virtual/Remote

Commitment: Flexible; individual and/or small-group sessions

Your beginning does not determine your ending.

Gift Ministries, Inc. creates pathways to education, employment, and economic independence for people facing barriers to opportunity. As part of our developing healthcare workforce initiative, we are seeking experienced nursing educators and registered nurses who want to help future nurses overcome one of the final barriers between nursing education and professional practice: the NCLEX.

    What You’ll Do

    Volunteer Nursing Educators may:

    • Provide virtual 1:1 NCLEX-RN and/or NCLEX-PN tutoring.
    • Facilitate small-group virtual NCLEX bootcamp sessions.
    • Help participants strengthen clinical judgment and Next Generation NCLEX reasoning.
    • Review NCLEX-style questions and teach effective approaches to answering them.
    • Support remediation in areas where participants demonstrate knowledge gaps.
    • Help participants develop individualized study plans.
    • Teach test-taking, prioritization, delegation, safety, and clinical reasoning strategies.
    • Encourage participants who may have previously been unsuccessful on the NCLEX.
    • Document participation and progress using Gift's established processes.

    Who We’re Looking For

    Ideal volunteers may include:

    • Current or retired nursing faculty.
    • Registered professional nurses with strong clinical and educational experience.
    • NCLEX educators or tutors.
    • Nurse educators with PN/LPN or RN program experience.
    • Nursing leaders passionate about workforce development and mentoring future nurses.

Previous NCLEX teaching experience is highly desirable.

    Why Volunteer With Gift?

Passing the NCLEX can be the difference between completing a nursing education and actually entering the nursing workforce. Your expertise can help a participant move from:

    EDUCATION → LICENSURE/CREDENTIAL → EMPLOYMENT → ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE → LEADERSHIP

This is an opportunity to use your nursing expertise to make a direct, measurable difference—one future nurse at a time.

Important: Gift's NCLEX services are educational preparation and tutoring services and do not confer nursing licensure, replace an approved nursing education program, or guarantee examination success.
